Google Releases Update Engine

If you are a mac developer you might want to take a look at Google’s Update Engine that was just released as open source.  I am not familiar with either Google‘s Update Engine or the Sparkle Framework because I just started developing with Cocoa but it seems like there is now competition for Sparkle and coming from a giant like Google I am sure it will be hard to compete with.

Google has provided video’s that they uploaded to YouTube so that you can see how everything works and get up to speed quick with integrating it into your applications.
