Site Downtime Caused by Plugin
To all of my readers who noticed my site was showing the 404 page for every page on the site I apologize. The issue is now fixed. I noticed the issue this morning and started to diagnose the issue. It appears that a plugin I recently installed caused the issues.

Using A Creative Eye
Over the last few weeks I have been doing a lot of reading about what makes a good photographer. There is more than being able to know your cameras settings and taking a shot. Two different photographers could shoot the same scene however one might compose the scene better than the other.

Image Previews on iPad in the Field
Over the last few weeks I have been trying to figure out how I could take my iPad with me when taking pictures and have my image previews after each shot show on the iPad instead of the tiny LCD screen on my Canon EOS 60D. I truly believe this would be a great feature for photographers as they could preview the image on a larger screen and instantly know if they got a nice shot and if not allow them to take another.

Photograph: Sun Beams
Yesterday evening we were on our way to our friend Derek’s house in Nahant, MA. While Claire was driving down the causeway I noticed the sun was projecting these beams of light down through the clouds. I quickly grabbed my camera and took some shots in Manual mode while trying to quickly choose my settings to get a good shot.

Prudential Center Boston
Before I really begin to dive into this post I have to thank my wonderful fiancé Claire for allowing the weekend to be all about me and taking photos. Saturday morning we went down to Lynn beach so that I could get some sunrise photos around 6:30am and then on Sunday we took a ride to Newburyport, MA so that I could see the Bald Eagles in the wild. I would have loved to have gotten a nice shot of these magnificent birds but my main concern was seeing them in the wild. They have slowly been making a comeback in the wild but I have never seen them outside of a zoo setting.

Beginning Photography
Before I begin telling the following story I must inform all of my readers that until recently I was not fully aware of this entire story. It was not until recently that I had a discussion with my mother which enlightened me to the full story.

Cycles 128 in Beverly, MA
A few weeks ago I thought I heard a clunking in the front end of my Katana and I needed to get an oil change anyway so I took the bike to Cycles 128 in Beverly, MA. I know that Cycles 128 is owned by the same family that owns Greater Boston Motor Sports, Plaistow Power Sports and Parkway Cycles.

Bose Companion 5 and Ubuntu (SOLVED)
For the last few days I have been trying very hard to get my Bose Companion 5 speakers to work with Ubuntu that I have installed on my MacBook Pro. However it seemed like the OS just did not see the speakers when I went to the audio output options. Ubuntu only seemed to see the built in card and after a bit of Googling I found that there were quite a few people who were having problems with this.
