A New Look
You might noticed that there has been some downtime for my site today, I apologize however I was working on changing the look of the site. I wanted to be able to keep up with Wordpress and the features they offer for themes however I was unable to find the time to custom write my theme again.

Sub-Domain Pointing to my Home Computer
For many years I have always wondered just how difficult it would be to make a sub-domain point to my home computer. I never really took the time to look into it because my web host Lunarpages does not offer this ability through CPanel. However recently I changed domain registrars from GoDaddy to NameCheap due to the SOPA controversy started by GoDaddy publicly supporting SOPA. Since I switched to NameCheap I noticed that they offer free dns services. I started to look into this today and found that it works exactly as I thought and will allow you to customize your DNS to your liking.

Time Between Posts
I want to start out by apologizing that I have not been posting that frequently and not really posting any content with meat. Things will be changing soon and I will be updating this site more and more frequently. I plan to continue writing about PHP but I also might start looking at Python and writing about that too.

XpertTech Update
Over the past few weeks recruiters from this company started to reach out to me again. I started emailing them back telling them to leave me alone and it did not help. Today I tried another tactic. I told them that if they did not leave me alone I would focus all of my energy on pissing them off. I blasted them with a few faxes from a free online service showing the link to my last post about xpertech and I think I might have finally gotten through to them.

Annoying Recruiters (XpertTech)
A while back I was conducting a job search and put myself out there on the job boards. Since then I have found a position which I am happy with and have marked such on all job boards. After closing down my job search I was contacted by XpertTech about a position which did not fit with my experience. -
Google Voice and Motorcycles
Over the last few years I have been getting more and more into riding motorcycles. They are quite a lot of fun to zip around on in the nice weather. Last year I went out and bought a pair of ScalaRider Pro’s which allow me to attach it to my helmet and have Bluetooth connectivity so that I can make and receive calls all by pressing one button and using my voice to dial. Having a setup like this is amazing, I no longer have to pull off the road and take off my helmet and gloves to find out who is calling me. I can press one button and say hello and carry on with my ride.

Call of Duty: Elite
For a while now I have been debating on getting the Premium Subscription to the COD Elite service. I went out last night and picked up a membership at Gamestop and came home to set it up. This morning the new maps dropped and I immediately installed them to try them out. I played a few rounds on them and then handed the controller over to the kid so he could play. About 5 minutes later he was calling me out to the living room as he could not figure out how to get the new maps to play.
